Why The Ironclad?
Here's what The Ironclad does for your home
Eliminates iron from your well water — no more orange stains on toilets, sinks, showers, and laundry
Fine mesh resin specifically engineered for iron removal — far more effective than standard softening resin
Also removes hardness minerals (calcium, magnesium) — you get softening AND iron removal in one tank
1.5 cubic foot capacity handles even high iron levels common in well water
Clack WS1 Protector Valve automatically regenerates based on actual water usage
Works in tandem with The Eliminator (sulfur) and The Extractor (tannin) for total well water domination
Protects your plumbing, water heater, and appliances from iron damage and scale
Iron staining is the #1 complaint from well water homeowners — The Ironclad solves it completely
How It Works
The Ironclad uses fine mesh ion exchange resin — a specialized softening media with a tighter bead structure than standard resin. As well water passes through the resin bed, iron ions are captured and exchanged for sodium ions. The fine mesh design traps iron particles that would pass right through standard resin. The system automatically regenerates using salt, flushing captured iron and minerals down the drain and recharging the resin beads. The Clack WS1 Protector Valve tracks your actual water usage and regenerates only when needed — no wasted salt or water.
Why Choose The Ironclad
Iron is the #1 enemy of well water homeowners. It stains everything it touches — toilets, sinks, showers, laundry, dishes. Standard water softeners can handle low levels of iron, but well water often has concentrations that overwhelm regular resin. The Ironclad's fine mesh resin is purpose-built for this fight. The tighter bead structure captures iron that standard resin would miss. And because it's also a softener, you're getting hard water treatment at the same time. If iron is your problem, The Ironclad is your solution.

What It Removes
What's Included
Warranty
Lifetime warranty on tank and valve. Your investment in iron-free water is protected for as long as you own the system.
Maintenance
Add salt every 4–8 weeks. The system regenerates automatically based on your water usage. Fine mesh resin lasts for years under normal well water conditions.
